Snowsport Pty Ltd offers FREE shipping over $250 on purchases within Australia. International orders are FREE over $1000 AUD, however, if you choose to send your item back to us from abroad, you will pay for the postage.

Do we return Sale Items?

Should you change your mind about a sale item, we will gladly exchange or refund all items, unless we have stated "final/clearance sale". If the item states "final/ clearance sale", all sales are final and no returns will be excepted. If you are concerned you can't get a refund reach out to our team online@snowsport.com.au and we can clarify for ease of mind.

Should you change your mind about a sale item, provided that it is in its original condition, we will exchange or refund your product within 30 days of purchase provided it is unworn and unused.

If you have made an incorrect choice, Snowsport will gladly exchange, refund or credit you for full priced items within 30 days of purchase, if the following conditions are met:

  • The item has not been worn or used in any way
  • The packaging of the product is intact, and all swing tags are attached.
  • You provide a copy of the proof of purchase
  • The item is returned within 30 days of purchase
  • The item is returned to Snowsport via registered post, courier or simply dropped of at our shop in Thredbo.

If these requirements are not satisfied, Snowsport International Pty Ltd reserves the right to not refund or exchange your product.

We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with their shopping experience.

If your goods are damaged due to manufacturing, we will refund, exchange, repair or credit you within 30 days of purchase. We cannot warranty goods without proof of purchase, so please keep your receipt.

However, Snowsport International Pty Ltd reserves the right to not offer exchange, return, refund or credit a product where the item fault is the result of mistreatment. Some of the things that we consider not under warranty are:

  • Normal wear that occurs from usage over time. Could be fabric fading from long terms sun exposure or tears in fabric that are not located on seams.
  • Damage due to improper care or mistreatment like scratches on lenses.
  • Loss of items outside of Australia. (We will help to the best of our ability to track items down)

Staying Warm

In general, padded jackets are warmer but less versatile than shell jackets, which have little or no insulating material.

The story goes that natural down insulation is less bulky than synthetic padding but loses its thermal properties when it's wet, whereas synthetic insulation works better when wet but tends to be more bulky and not as easy to compress into a small package. However, newer forms of synthetic padding are less bulky and more compressible, mimicking down, and may even be stretchy and breathable.

 There are two types of scenarios when a skier purchases a jacket. 

Skier one: Likes to ski moderately to hard and can get warm when doing this. 

We recommend either a waterproof and breathable shell, paired with an insulation jacket. This allows you to stay warm when its a cold day. Or shed the insulation jacket on a warm day to utilise the light properties of a shell jacket.

Pros: You have a second functioning jacket which you can walk around town with or use a light travel jacket.

Cons: Purchasing a shell outer jacket and and insulation jacket can put some people off.  

Skier two: Can ski comfortably around doesn't like to push to hard and wants to wear the jacket to Apres ski. 

We recommend a Down or Primaloft insulated jacket. These provide the highest level of warmth around your vital organs. 

Pros: Warm and stylish jackets 

Cons: You can get to warm depending where you ski.
